Dubai-based producer O.G. FM returns with Trust Me, a new single that fuses future bass and futurepop into a festival-ready anthem. Released today on his own Bassline Ballistics Records, the track centers on a commanding synth lead, layered vocal hooks, and subtle chillwave accents, delivering an upbeat, melodic composition designed for main-stage impact.
“This song is a euphoric journey built for the biggest festival stages,” the label states. “The powerful synth lead and emotional vocal, combined with melodic structure and chillwave influences, create a positive, good-vibes experience.”
O.G. FM comments: “As a producer, it was an honor to work on a track that embodies our label’s motto: perfect, live, innovative, and emotional sound. This is just the beginning of a new chapter for me and a lot of amazing music to come. Stay tuned for what’s next.”
O.G. FM’s background includes classical music education, but he’ll be the first to tell you he isn’t a professional musician. He operates as a producer and sound-builder, creating tracks from his studio in Dubai. His approach is all about experimentation: he doesn’t just play instruments, he uses them as tools for sonic discovery. This includes everything from bass, keys, and guitar to brass alto, the Irish tin whistle, and a collection of jaw harps gathered from across the globe. After nearly two decades away from public releases, the 2020 pandemic gave him the creative push he needed. Since then, he’s been prolific, releasing over 50 tracks under his current alias, O.G. FM, and his former moniker, Crazy Owl, all focused on delivering high-quality sound to listeners.
His influences span eras and genres: the raw energy of 80s/90s hip-hop icons Onyx and Cypress Hill, the drum & bass innovations of Aphrodite, the early sound-design experiments of Skrillex and Knife Party, and the soulful reggae sway of Bob Marley. The result is an electronic hybrid that bridges yesterday’s foundations with tomorrow’s possibilities.
